** If you are able to come skating with us on February 4th as a volunteer please send me a note or an email to let me know. We need a volunteer to walk over to the arena with us **
Language - This week we will be looking at point of view and starting some activities and writing assessments around point of view. We will also be looking at verbs and the different types of verbs. Students are encouraged to be looking at Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs and Adverbs when they are reading at home.
Math - This week in Math we will be continuing to solve simple algebraic expressions. We will be having a quiz on this concept on Thursday. Students are encouraged to complete this weeks homework which can be found on their Hapara accounts or in a hard copy in class as this will help prepare them for this quiz.
Religion - In Religion we have been looking at what a moral decision is and how we live a moral life. We have been looking at the story of Adam and Eve and having discussions around what it means to make a moral decision and why living a moral life is important.
We received back all of our ski permission forms and are looking forward to the upcoming ski trip. If you have offered to volunteer you will be hearing from me this week. Students who are not attending the ski trip will be given work to do during the day at school in another classroom.
